This Money Holder is my fun take on the Christmas pickle tradition and it is sure to last in your family for years to come!
The night before Christmas, you hide the pickle on the Christmas tree. On Christmas morning, everyone can look for the pickle and the one who finds it gets a year of good luck and, with this this version, a surprise gift inside!
This pickle ornament will slide open allowing you to insert money inside. This works best with one or two bills folded a few times.
These ornaments are cut from birch plywood. They are about 6 inches long and 1/2” thick. I include the string to hang the ornament also.
